Get involved
Hello neighbour. This is where you can make a difference.
VoiceOpenGov connects people who want public decisions to stay closer to the people affected by them – in their neighbourhood, town, region and beyond.
You do not need a party card, a political career or an existing local group. If traditional political offers do not feel like the right fit, or you want participation to be more direct, you can simply start here.

Start for free
Stay connected, contribute when you want to and decide later how much time or responsibility you would like to take on.
Locally
Do something for your neighbours
Bring people together, enable a meeting place, share expertise or help build a regional eDebatte × VoiceOpenGov contact point.
Issues
Decide questions together
Theses, sources, counterpositions and votes belong in eDebatte. That is where a valid decision is formed for VoiceOpenGov to represent politically.
Your entry point
Join in the way that suits you.
You can simply stay connected at first or contribute actively. Both are free, and you can switch later at any time.
I want to stay connected first
I want updates and the freedom to decide when I become more active.
Status note: Community registration is not currently a legal association or party membership. Any later formal membership status will be shown separately and transparently.
For your neighbourhood
VoiceOpenGov is not meant to exist only online. Local presence grows where people bring neighbours together, make everyday issues visible and choose to take responsibility locally.
For your neighbours. For your region.
VoiceOpenGov should be visible where decisions are felt in everyday life: in neighbourhoods, villages, towns, cities and districts. You can bring people together, make local issues visible, make eDebatte accessible locally or help build a lasting contact point.
Our goal is a growing network of local teams, meeting places, mobile formats and, over time, around 400 eDebatte × VoiceOpenGov contact points across Germany. We build it region by region with people on the ground.
1. Tell us where you want to make a difference
A place, region and a few words are enough to start.
2. Meet people nearby
We can connect matching local interests once everyone involved agrees to contact.
3. Turn it into visible local presence
A meeting, issue night, local contact person or later a permanent contact point can grow from it.
What would you like to make possible in your region?
You do not need to choose one fixed role. Several answers are possible.
